FAQs

  • How much will my renovation cost?

Renovation investments can vary widely based on several factors such as the scope of the project, your choice of fixtures and finishes, and the number of rooms included. If you’d like a general idea of what your specific project might cost, you can use our Renovation Investment Calculator*. *Calculator results are for informational purposes only and are not a true estimate or quote. Please take a moment to complete our Service Inquiry Form, and one of our designers will reach out to schedule a consultation. During that conversation, we may be able to provide a more accurate pricing range.
  • Do you offer financing?

At this time, we do not offer financing options for our services, but we are happy to coordinate with your bank or credit union.
  • Do you do free estimates?

After learning more about what you’re looking for during our consultation, our designers are happy to provide an initial pricing range at no cost. While this won’t be an exact quote, it offers a helpful starting point for your project.
  • What is a design-build remodel group?

Great question! A design-build remodel group brings the design and construction phases together into one smooth, streamlined process. You can think of companies like Haus Studio as a one-stop shop for renovations, redesigns, and home refreshes of all sizes. It’s a modern approach to the traditional way of transforming a home.
  • How long will my project take?

Just like investments, project timelines can vary widely and depend on many factors. For a standard project, we typically ask clients to plan for about 3 to 9 months of construction and final touches after contracts are signed.
  • Will I have to move out?

Deciding whether to move out during the construction phase is usually a personal choice for you and your family. In general, unless you’re taking on a large-scale, multi-space, or whole-home remodel, you’re welcome to continue living in your home. Haus’ trusted partners, installers, and designers are experienced in working with homeowners who stay in place, and we plan our construction schedule to be mindful of your family’s time and space. That said, if you choose to remain in your home, some adjustments to your day-to-day lifestyle should be expected.
  • Are your installers employees of the company?

Yes! All of our installers are Haus employees. Any trained technicians who come into your home to install countertops, plumbing, wallpaper, tile, and more are long-time, thoroughly vetted partners of our company.
  • Can I use my own Interior Designer?

Absolutely! At Haus Studio, we take pride in collaborating smoothly with others. If you’re already working with a designer and need a company to handle the remodel work, we’re happy to assist.
  • Do I have to choose all of my materials by myself?

We never expect our clients to select materials and finishes on their own. In addition to offering expert recommendations, your designers will guide you through our showroom as well as the showrooms of our tile, appliance, and plumbing partners to find the best options for your new space.
  • Who will be managing my project?

One of our skilled designers will be assigned to your project to get to know you and manage the overall redesign of your space(s). Tyler Swartzmiller, Founder and Lead Designer at Haus, will work alongside your designer as an active consultant and project anchor. Both Tyler and your designer will be directly available to you and your family throughout the entire process. Additionally, our Production Manager, Kenny Parrish, will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of your project from construction through completion.
  • Do I need to hire an architect for additions or remodels?

While you’re welcome to hire an architect for your project, we recommend reaching out to us first as the much more cost-effective approach. We’ll work with you to perfect your new layout, then loop in our trusted architect to bring the addition or remodel vision to fruition.
  • Do you pull permits and complete inspections?

Yes! Haus Studio will take care of all necessary permits and inspections for your project.
